The challenge today is Dent (around 1000 feet above seal level). You can just see the peak in the distance
The route is through a forest and up a steep slope and certainly gets you warmed upThe top was duly reached and sam was delighted to find a 'St George's Flag' marking the spot.

Looking back towards St Bees
Once recovered we set of down towards Raven Crag and along the valley of Nannycatch Beck on the way to Ennerdale Village for lunch at the Shepherd's Inn. 5 Miles down, 4 to go till Ennerdale YHAThe walk from Ennerdale Village to the start of Ennerdale Water is along the road and a little boring but once you get to the water everything changes, its a wonderful view with Red Pike and High Stile in the distance
